World Cup Semi Finale 2014

Its World Cup season everywhere, as per Germans its the 'Weltmeister' or WM. Its more of a festive season, much like Cricket World cup, with posters, goodies, flags, public viewing etc. There's one thing which surprised me though -> People honking their cars, shouting DEUTSCHLANNNNDDDD unusually displaying their patriotism with flags everywhere. haan .. (weird, that they will unite this way again only for the next Euro cup/ Worldcup). Whatsoever, the enthusiasm and happiness does pulls you too to dress up with German goodies for the next match ! (Yeah, I did go for WM Shopping :D)

Well, they are favorites for so many people around the World, let's hope they win, so I can party and have my part of celebration too !

Over the Rocks this Summer

It's just two days now. My feet is no more sore. Nor are my palms swollen. Nor do my eyes see such greenness everywhere anymore. I miss the Rainforest and the metal ladders already.  Every year my Summer, is different. My first year in Germany was filled with amazement towards my first snow (a surprise trip to Switzerland), the second with a refreshing dip in lake , the third a cycling trip, last year a mini hike to the peak of a small mountain range close to my place, and now, I'm more calorie-conscious and fitter I'd say. Hehe. Maybe it's the recent gym membership effect, or to maintain the compliment 'oh, you always look just like in college', or if it's really my thought to stay healthy: well, whatever - as long as it keep me in good vibes.   A walk along the Malerweg: S and I are completely free this summer holidays - as in no office, no guests, no pre-planned long trips, and lots of relaxation.  One afternoon after work, S just lik...

My First Garden

All of a sudden, you see bird s fly here and there, bugs, butterf lies, veggie-mosquitoes ( Yeah, yeah these are veggies you see ? - they don't bite us, but roam around the garden and are super huge! God knows what they feed on o.O) and bees buzz around ever ywhere . That's when you start seeing people outside. Just like how ants come out back home before the Summer is on, the people begin to come out of their cocoon.. So here comes another sto ry to my 'Firsts'.
